What's It?

Drill down--Ability of a database application program to provide additional information on a subject by highlighting the subject with the cursor. Once highlighted, pressing enter or clicking on the highlighted area with the mouse, causes a new window of information to be displayed.

Hotplug disk--Makes it possible to physically remove a disk from the system without turning the power off or shutting down the system.

Hotswap disk--When a disk fails, the controller automatically reconstructs all information from the failed disk onto the hotswap disk.

RAID--A method of obtaining fault tolerance and correcting errors by writing data to multiple disks.
